so i am driving to work 2 days ago, im on the interstate doing arround 55 and i notice that my car started idleing funny like kinda of shaking almost like something was throwing it off balance somehow and now it is hesitating and i keep smelling fuel but i have adjusted the carb and even tore it down to make sure there was not a blockage or anything. i checked the timing and it looked good, i know i am getting fuel or at least enough to keep it running, i visually checked and gave the doil a sniff test to make sur eit didnt burn up on me, oil pressure is good, temp good. it seems to run a little better when i romp on it but still is not 100% when i do so. the engine is a 355 chevy, 882 heads, 4 barrel edelbrock setup, stock large hei distributor, roller rockers, mild cam.... pretty basic. i am wondering if i have a distributor issue, maybe the module kicked the bucket or something?? any other ideas?? thanks in advance!
