just read over GuysMonteSS thread "Pretty Excited Today" and it got me thinking. My poor Regal hasn't seen the light of day since two years ago this coming Memorial weekend. The pic in my avatar is from that weekend. I don't know when I'm going to get around to it again or even my Model A. The fact of being stuck in the house has got me thinking why I'm even hanging on to the things I do. I have sold off a couple engines and a bunch of parts but still have too much. The Regal would be kind of a hard one to sell, the Model A not so much. The virus has got racing shut down so we can't get out with the Sonoma and God only knows when we can get out again. Oh well, thanks for letting me vent a little.

I hear and feel your pain, but it won't last forever. What were to happen if you did sell it and then everything turned around, then you would feel even worse! Hang in there friend! You can always sell them, you cant always buy them back.

You want to feel better about regals that haven't seen the light of day in a while?

It's already been a year since I unlocked this door, and, back when it did that it hadn't been opened since about 2002.

So for 17 years it stayed closed, and now it's been another year again!

Car has somewhere around 44k original miles or so? Something like that? Interior looks like a brand new car. But who knows what it'll take to get running after such a long wait. So it continues to wait....

(Sad thing is there's another one that's sat even longer in the same butler building, my first car)

I quess I came across as the Virus causing my dilemma which isn't the case. My wife was diagnosed with FTD (frontotemporal dementia) in 2015 and it's been down hill since then. The Memorial Weekend I spoke about is when I discovered she had to be watched over 24/7 so my son took over driving both. I've been thankful the last couple of years to get out to the track and hope to continue so with the truck.
I swear I won't let her go to a nursing home but it isn't getting easier. My health took a turn this winter which didn't help the situation and the virus just seems to be the icing on the cake so hence the "got me thinking" As it's been said "It's a b*tch getting old" but I'm thankful to make it this far. Funny my son just called and the Summit Raceway Park No Box Bonanza just got canceled as did Memorial weekend @ Mid mich.
