But is going back on his word

Sorry to hear that. Chalk it up to a $10-12 loss. Get a new one and don't use dude's shop again. Shops like that get most of it's business thru word-of-mouth, just don't send anyone to him or if someone asks about his shop, let them know how he treated you. It will come back at him, believe me.

looks good but I never do tints they jus ask for attention from the police! Just make sure you got a good alarm and your good! Ive had bad experiences with tint and police!

It is only a shade darker than legal so I think I will be ok. I am going to install a viper alarm when I get the money. I already have a hidden kill switch and custom wheel locks.

I like a little tint to help keep the sun out. However, I had something that was close to limmo black, and I didn't like it 'cause I couldn't see out at night.
But you have it in writing (text form) where he agreed to fix it. If it goes to small claims court, he'd most likely loose. On the other hand, I don't know that a window switch is worth that kind of fuss....

if the switch was the original it's not worth much. A new switch is about $20 and it's about a 20 minute job to change it. The new switch comes without the bezel so you have to remove the broken switch to put the new one in. He should have told you about it but stuff is expected to break when it's old...
