Don't attempt argue with people like him (i.e. try to help them by correcting them) . Maybe it was a verrrrrrry rare option like BS57. 😛

I thought GM sent down both SS and SC versions? Albeit with the same interior options and drivetrain.

I should have bought the Mexican Monte Dana 44 rear axle a guy had for sale at the swap meet a few years ago. It's probably still around here somewhere.

I bet I've heard of more "factory" 350 cars than what GM cars that actually had a 350 in the '80's. Seem like everybody in Pittsburgh in the '90's had factory 350's. One was the super ultra rare special order Regal GS with a paper trail - a rusty base '84 with stuck on pitted badges. But there will be someone who will take the bait & buy it then learn it's not really what it's advertised as.

You could be right there. There was a lot of conjecture about these cars over the years.

Hmmmmm....no, my thinking is if he thought he bought a new GM vehicle in 1985 with a 350 and 4 speed stick it had to be a truck...🤔.

and if you don't believe that...ok so maybe I made a mistake...
Steve,
I'm just breakin' your chops...you know that. 😊

After I get home next week if it is still for sale I plan on going to look at it as it is about 2 hours away. I will ask my wife to print off the rpo codes so I can help him out.
