GNX flares might be a close match too

I mocked up the GNX flares on my Monte and because the body lines are different it wouldn't lay flush on the quarter and I think it will be the same situation for the GP since it has a body line in the middle of the car and the Regal's is low.

True, but the metal donar fender sections would be easy to alter.

The body of the grand am looks to just be a rebadged Malibu. I imagine you could probably use parts from one of them, but it’ll be a major undertaking.

you got that backwards...the malibu is just a rebadged Grand Am....

As YALL ALL know, I prefer the all metal route myself. Many different ways to cut & splice in a section but the one thing I will say is to try to stay about an inch away from the actual flare meeting the fender as much as possible. That rounded intersecting area is a real beech to bodywork.
Backside access to a weld is best ,along with grinding & planishing the skipped around welds if using mig.
Naw, it ain't easy work, but if you want someone to tell you no, it won't be me. :p :p

the thing is if you add wheel flares to a GP you'll need to cut the inner fender along with the fender and quarter panel and add width to the rear and front so the wheels don't look strange sitting so far inside the flare. On my GP my rear end is 2.5" wider then the stock rear end, I have 4" BS on 17x8 rims with 245-50-17 tires and on the back I had to slightly roll the lip, with the front I have negative camber to give the tires clearance.

If I recall correctly, all the Pontiac LeMans/Grand LeMans G bodies use the same fenders, including the little Bonneville sedans and wagons. The Bonneville sedan quarter flares should be the same as the GA as well. The Pontiac wagons and the Malibu wagon use a hybrid quarter opening, doesn't quite match either carline's fender opening

PLEASE do not cut up a Grand Am

Exactly my thoughts I'm glad that was said.
