I think he used the 83-84 hurst spoiler,but the mid 80's firebird spoiler is basically the same think except you can get one of those for about $20 anywhere. :wink:

That's definitely a firebird spoiler, the H/O spoiler end caps do not curve down as much and have a different shape. It would be from 82-85ish without the third brake light, then after that they had the same style with a third brake like for 2-3 more years.

it looks nice without looking like a sore thumb. maybe i can score one next time i go to the junkyard.
I read a forum over at oldspower,its a good one to where they show the difference in the 2,i guess they came off the same mold at the gm plant,and you can easily make the bird,a hurst.im gonna try it for $150 vs $20-$40 worth it 2 me,to most you wouldn't know the difference.
