My battery didn't survive the winter so I replaced it yesterday. After cranking enough to get some fuel to the carb, it started right up. Obviously...taco run. It ran okay but felt a little lazy. I ate by the boat ramp then threw $20 fresh ethanol-free down its gullet. Ran better on the way home. My most recent fuel receipt was 11/21. View attachment 240997View attachment 240998
R4. I'm headed out to another yard tomorrow that has a couple possible donor cars. I'm hoping to find something local, but I'll be in touch if I strike out. Thanks.
You know the R4 brackets need to be extended as they were never an option on the tall deck Olds. Just a FYI on the needed fabrication. Looks like you have all the goodies to get serious on your 425 build.
