Grandpa Car: 1979 Cutlass Thread

And that's what eventually fixed it. Ended up at my favorite Mexican restaurant that night for Cadillacs and a plate they call The 3 Chilis.

One more 50 mile taco run then topped off with some corn-free and tucked away for the winter. Oil change sticker shows just over 1100 miles in the last two years. Shameful.

Second picture.... back to the days of pulling way ahead of the pump to fill the gas tank from the rear behind license plate, just like my '79 maibu.

The social media posting from ASH.... just how on earth does she think she got here on planet earth then, immaculat conception? If it wasnt for her father sexing her mother, she wouldnt be here. smh

Proof of life post just to keep the thread from auto-locking. Just sitting there covered in a thick layer of dust. I've backed it out of the garage a couple times and let it run but I can't even remember the last time I drove it anywhere.

Time for taco run!

I'm too busy for tacos right now.
(File that under, "Things I never thought I'd say.")
Busy is good. Keeps you alive.

I just noticed this thread, i have not really dug though the history of this site yet. My car was also bought by my grandpa brand new. It is nice to see pride in keeping memories alive.

And almost 2 years later, still on that same tank of gas.

Hosed it off today and did the thing.

Ate at the park and drove back home with zero drama.
