Kevin,Here's another for you.....86 SS listed as parts or restore. Engine is gone and some of the interior. Passenger side looks pretty rusty in the pics. I may investigate...not sure.
and yes for those keeping count....this one also has running boards...
Did folks up there install running boards to try to spare the rockers from rust damage?
You know Jared....I'm not really sure why they got put on...that could certainly be part of it. Alot of farming around here and perhaps people put them on to save the lower side from grid round travel?
I sadly admit that the one year old 86 Cutlass we bought for the wife to drive after we got married already had them on....and a doctor owned it prior to us....so who knows for sure?
