Happy Canada Day to all !! Hope you all are enjoying the day off. I am so glad to have my big sister fly in from Alberta to come celebrate her first Canada Day in Ontario since 1989 !

I hope to get out and see the Tall Ships in Toronto Harbor. Last night ( thru work ) I got to talk to two of the guys who sailed all the way from Norway in a replica Viking Ship. They left in April to be here for the weekend and check out the rest of the great lakes and to prove that Vikings could have traveled much further than originally thought into N.America. What a cool thing to experience !!!

Axis, enjoy the viewing of the the tall ships. That must be a sight to behold. I missed the one in NY Harbor back in '76 for the bicentennial.
The guys sailing in from Norway must have a few good stories of their travels to share.

Next year is the big one, 150. Proof of Viking outposts on Baffin Island proved how far they travelled and stayed into the 13th century.

My wife and I went to see The Beach Boys in Truro Nova Scotia last night for Canada Day.
