Hard start when hot

Timing sounds good to not have slow spinover when hot.. Rich mixture can also cause harder starting when hot. Weak spark can also contribute.

Hey, think I found the problem. You got a Chinese knock off carburetor called edelbach. No wonder.

The Edelbrock/Carter AFB/AVS have had this issue since the 60's, fuel boils dry in the bowl.

thanks gonna try some other type of heat shield if not probably change to holley and hope for the best thanks for the input
