Sounds like someone speaking from experience? I put a 350 Olds in my 79 Cutlass 30 years ago and "modified" my ac box. It turned out to be a good thing. 30 years later I put in a 455 and it right slipped in. No mods necessary.I believe baffles needed trimmed and double gaskets for full roller rocker arms. You can also fit them with Edelbrock/M/T valve covers with no baffles in place. Also expect to modify the A/C box. Of course just installing an Olds V8 in a G body usually does it by accident. Also expect a 2" drop base air filter with a BBO. A 350 stroker or 403 definitely fits better as the car was designed for the short deck, second gen Olds V8.
Yeah they are. No idea of quality, but they're supposedly repros with the baffles, stock height. $229 per set though. Yeeouch!I don't think the notched covers are available in chrome currently. I would imagine the passenger side is the most important with the notch for the A/C box.
It says currently unavailable, Thornton the same thing.Yeah they are. No idea of quality, but they're supposedly repros with the baffles, stock height. $229 per set though. Yeeouch!
