Im in the process of the V6 to sbc swap and I read the forum on the swap in the v6 to sbc thread but I wanted to know about the Harness on the bottom left hand corner of the engine bay, facing the car. Do I need it if ive already deleted the a/c and in the process of that wrecked the heat too can I just get rid of that harness or is it necessary for basic street/strip applications, I also have power windows will that affect it...Anybody just let me know what up, as much as possible thanks

You must be talking about the computer wiring. The two wire harnesses that you need are connected to the back of the fuse box on the driver's side of the firewall below the brake booster.

there are two harnesses that come from the back of the fuse box. One travels down the drivers side and that is for the horns and lights, the other travels around the back of the intake and has the wiring for the oil pressure, starter, choke, alternator, ac, temp sender etc..

ITS ALL THE WIRS IN THE A/C HOLES AND THE HARNESS TO THE BOTTOM LEFT OF IT

did you check to see if that harness on the bottom left ends up at the computer behind the kick panel?
