I have the flowtech afterburner headers and couldn't be happier. I've had them for 5 years now and have no issues. Made by Holley

No clearance issues with the Flowtech Afterburners, then?
Nope, none at all. I'm going to buy the ceramic coated pair for a better look upgrade. They are truly a great header.

Hedman husler 65218 here. They are very nice, really heavy duty but pricy. Fit well in my regal and much better than the old hooker comps I had

Hedman headers have a ball and socket flange and they make shorty headers and they have ceramic coatings. If I had a SBC in my car, I'd get a set of ceramic shorty headers from Hedman. Ball and socket flanges are the way to go. Also make sure you get a set with a thick header flange, thin flanges tend to warp and wind up leaking. If Hedman made a shorty header for the Buick V6 I'd buy a set from them. Instead, I'm looking at getting these, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hok-1115hkr, I'm sure I can sell the pipes to a turbo Buick owner to offset the high cost but the headers are perfect for my car. The flanges are 5/16" which is my only complaint. The other alternative is to have the exhaust manifolds extrude honed which is more expensive (690 bucks per manifold) or have a set of stainless steel headers made which is also more expensive ($2K for 304 stainless)
