Yes on a typical HEI system that would be correct, but your running a ECM so the ECM interfaces with the module in base of distributor .Not sure to be honest . I thought the wire connected to the batt+ was what was needed to power it up
Yeah I believe it's the rotor it's old as well. Wanted to replace it thought u had to have the engine turn over to do it. The clip that attaches to the rotor is damaged.What wire? the B++ (Pink)?
does it have a tach? if so unplug it from the cap and check for spark
