headers question

I agree with the comment about the gears. I put a set of 3:73s in the first g-body I owned after a few months. In all my years before that I would spend so much money on cams, exhaust, intakes, carbs...

And gearing was by far the best bang for the buck. My stock 305 4-door malibu can beat the new hemi trucks, and the new mustang GTs. And aside from a tune up and duel wxhaust, the motoer is totally stock.

With the 355 and stock 2.41 gears, my car maybe would hit 60 in 9 seconds. After the switch to 3.23's, it does it in about 5 or 6. Best money I have ever spent.

When i changed from the original 2.29s or whatever was stock in my car to 3.73s, that 305 felt like a completly different engine. I did have headers though 😛
