I've mentioned that pass side frame rail mod that rabbithole showed on this site before, couldn't find it in my pics last nite. I think it's a good mod to do to any g-body for any headers when engine is out.

Started making my own headers years ago from used Kooks Nascar LS series headers. True equal length, assembled on jigs based on measurements & other headers. Did big ugly tack welds & joints in many spots since they never got test fit to my driving vehicle. Labor of love type project.

I had to go on Holleys website to check on this. Unbelievable. I don't understand what is going on in this country.
On side note has anyone ever tried to use 68-72 Chevelle headers on a G body?

Yea, I heard about from you, referring to this thread. I just copied it.

Those look identical to the speed engineering headers.
I think so too cause I can’t find anyone that has those. I was thinking about ordering a set as well.
Did you look into these too? Seems like everywhere is out of stock. I seen a few small sites I never heard of say in stock. Opgi says in stock too, but shipping direct from the manufacturer.
Seems to me like if you want headers, you better buy them now.

Just a quick update. I went with the speed engineering headers. 1 7/8 primaries
This is the driver side so far. I just trimmed a piece of the lower control arm instead of denting the header. Took about 10 minutes to install.

Thanks these are OTW now.
Have you received the headers? I bought the same ones from Jeg's and I received them. I sent mine to get Cerakote in black. They started rusting just laying around in the shop.
