I just recently acquired an 82' monte, and happend to come across a set of VW Toureag headlights from a coworker (very expensive new) and we tore them apart to check out the projectors, we took out the set and i ended up with both, low beams having HID "trap door" projectors with a door that flips down for brights, and the others are reg projectors with HIDS. i managed to put them in, using the headlight cups, and alot of cutting on the cups and rear panel, they are in, and very cool to see. Just need to put up plexiglass in front. let me know what you guys think, and if anyone else has done anything similar!! 🙂
