Headlight fitment issues.

Here's the thread I posted the swap.
Thank you, didn’t see anything in the headlights connectors though. Also I’m not sure that the switch is pulling the dimmer that goes on column. Not even sure how they’re supposed to be connected. I purchased a rebuilt steering column from Mikes Monte’s so assumed it’s all working

I did realize there’s a switch on the steering column. That is supposed to click when I pull the light switch. It’s not doing anything. I did mention the steering column was refurbished, maybe I did not properly connect this? Not sure where that would even be connected

Check the rod that should be there between the dimmer & turn signal/multi-purpose lever switch pivot. Might not be seated as they can easily come dislogded when anything gets lossened. There should of been QA check before it was shipped.

Lights inside dim just fine. Not sure of that’s what it’s for. My lever on left of steering wheel doesn’t activate lights does it? The lights switch has 2 clicks. I’m assuming 1 click is low beams and the second click is high beam. Buy lever also says high and low so I’m a bit confused
 
The first position on the headlight switch is running lights (taillights and front marker lights). Pulled fully out turns on the headlights and keeps everything in the first position on.

Bright and dim is the switch on the steering column.

Oh damn. I was assuming wrong. Now I need to check if the running lights are on. I do know when pulled all the way out all 4 lamps are on. Not just the regulars
 
Dimmer switch on the column. Yellow square is where the linkage rod from the turn signal stalk operates the switch. Should be able to feel if it is being moved when you pull the TS lever forward and back.

Hard to see the rod that operates the switch because the switch is right behind the saddle bracket that hold the steering column.

The yellow wire is the power from the headlamp switch. Light green is Lo beam out to headlights. Brown wire is Hi beam out to the headlights.

I do not recall connecting any rods. How is this connected to switch
 
The rod goes under the saddle bracket then inside the plastic housing of the column. If the column was built by someone else this should have been done by them.
So the only thing that activates that is the plug?
