HEadlight cover

When installing headlight covers on a Monte Carlo is the Velcro all that’s needed to install ? And is it really strong enuff to hold the covers on

I had some on my car in the late 80s after a headlight was taken out by a rock on the highway. They worked fine with the velcro and never fell off. I lost them after I moved to AZ and never bought replacements.

I used double sided 3M tape instead of the velcro. With velcro mine could move a little bit. With the tape they didn't go anywhere.

Made my own on my Regal - used clear rtv, don't even notice them
