I have an '87 Cutlass Supreme and when I get out of my car and accidentally leave my headlights on, there is no dinger/buzzer alerting me of this. Luckily I caught it the other day before I left my lights on and left myself stranded, but how do you fix this? I can't find any info on it. I can't imagine it would be something major.

Thanks in advance.

its behind the dash to the left of the steering column. its a black box. you'll have to get under it and unscrew it. easiest solution would be to remove the dash.

Turns out, I lied. If I put my ear to the dash I can barely hear the beeping, telling me the lights are on. I'm assuming the part needs to be replaced? Any idea?

Also, the same with the turn signal indicator. It makes no noise telling me the turn signal is on. Any chance it's related? Doesn't the flasher

also give off the tone? Would the flashers still work if the tone stopped working or is it linked?
