does anybody know how to fix this , I have to pull the headlight switch in and out like 6 times for it to light up . My tail lights and headlights both work but my gauge don't

Sounds like a switch that is going out. I would take the switch out and get a test light. Put the wire to a solid ground then start checking wires. It sounds like something is loose or not making a full connection. Do the gauges light up too when you get the headlights to turn on or do they dont ever turn on?

It's a new switch and yes whenever I get the gauge light on it can turn from bright to low
Imma tag a video

Hmmm, like i said you're going to need a wiring diagram, and you're going to have to find out where that intermittent connection is. I would start by looking at the connector to the switch, the hot wire might be getting loose and not making full contact.

Yeah i think it's the wire getting loose from when my headlight switch bracket had broken so I took it out , from me turning the light on and off without that bracket probably made my wires loose

What color is the hot wire that control gauge? Now my light on the floor not working when I turn it on

I fixed mine tonight....the plug into the back of the instrument cluster was not making very good contact to the circuit board. As the cars age, time and oxidation work on destroying the electrical path. One thing that tipped me off was that the hardwired bulbs to the wiper switch and radio were working.

I cleaned the terminals in the plug, and used a little grease to prevent future corrosion issues. Might want to try some on the switch terminals as well.

Hope this helps guide you in the right direction to track down what is causing you lighting issues. These are the color/circuit number/circuit name.
Red/circuit 2/unfused battery feed, dark green/circuit 44/insturment panel & lights feed/5 amp fuse in fuse box (powers gray/circuit 8/insturment & panel lights from fuse to lights), black/circuit 150/direct ground circuit, orange/circuit 240/fused battery feed, white/circuits 156 &900/switch controlled body interior lamps (dome, courtesy, map, warning) ground circuit, brown/circuit 9/tail, parking, side marker, license lamp feed, yellow/circuit 10/dimmer switch feed.
