headlights wont get off highbeams

hi i was wondering y my headlights wont switch back to lowbeams, ive tryed everything to my knowage about this and noone here can tell me so ill ask forum people how to fix the problem and hoping its not my turn signal thingy

The dimmer switch located down on the column is probably bad,once you get to it, it's no big deal to change it.
