Headliner clips

Hey guys, Went through this clip issue a few years ago and spent hours researching looking for headliner clips.

Here is what I found-

The clips for across the back above rear hatch glass are being repoped, they are made by Car-Pak part #79-5128 and are available in boxes of 25 (I know we only need 4), I contacted the company and of course you cannot buy direct so I got from a company called PDQ supply out of NY (800-434-5141)for $12.60 and they had no minimum. They are also available through The Cliphouse in Texas (800-229-2547). I am sure they have other distributors, these are the only ones that Car-Pak sent to me.

The clips across the front by windshield are same as all G-bodies and are available from GM and also repoped from Car-Pak. (Car-Pak #92-7045 pack of 10, $11.34 from PDQ, GM #20058837)

The clips over the side doors are the same as all G-body sedans and are not available that I know of, but can be gotten out fairly easily without breaking. (I do have a box of these clips used if anyone needs, will post a pic when I can.)

The clips over the back side qtr glass are also not available that I know of. Here is some pics of that clip (holding tang broken off).

If anyone knows where to get these that would be awesome, I ended up using clips to hold the back of el camino headliner trim up and modifying them to work. This has worked for the past few years, but does not hold them tight enough so every so often I get a rattle. I have seen others drill a small hole in the ends of the trim and use trim screws which looks ok, but is not correct. Any other suggestions?!?

Griff,
thank you for your much valued input and great information. Many wagon guys have been scratching their heads as to what they should do about these clips.
I think I was able to save the clips over the quarter windows. I'll have to reassess them.

I had purchased my clips from the dealer initially, and that was probably 15 yrs ago when alot of this stuff was still available from GM. Of course living in Florida, my headliner needs to be redone.
