heat riser, how do we hook this back up?

there is a spot on the manifold to install it....

I have seen them on the water outlet on some 305's, but most were on the water crossover on the intake.

From what i gathered from what you guys said and a vacuum diagram i found where it goes. I goes on the drivers sider rear part of the intake found a blocked off spot where it went. Thanks guys!

This spot you found is it on a water passageway? If not it won't work. It must be in coolant so it can close as it gets up to operating temperature.

He is talking 307 though. Olds thermostat housings have no threaded ports anywhere. Just two ears to bolt it down. A radiator hose neck, and a bypass hose neck to the water pump.

Never specified what engine sorry thanks for clearing that up. I believe that it is a coolant passage that is on the back of the intake

I admit I know little about Olds (learning every day!) but most GM's have the coolant crossover on the front of the intake. Educate me, Olds guys.
