Remove the glove box and look at the lever on the heater blend door. The small post that the control cable attaches to usually breaks off. New ones are available from Four Seasons under P/N 74806. $6.55 from RockAuto.

ok so i folded down my glove box so i could see the thing you are talking about couldnt really figure it out so i watched it as i moved my controls from hot to cold and it moved back and forth ok and the wire was attached

check your heater control valve on the intake where the heater hose goes into the intake there is a valve there that plugs up sometimes I just removed mine to regain my heat. If only fixing the a/c was that easy

with the motor hot and the heat on feel the hoses and see if they get hot if not then it is the valve and you will beable to tell if it is working or not the hoses get pretty hot not just barly warm but hot if it is working right

if that dont work you can move to texas we stay in the 90's most of the year

so I ran it and still have it running that line hasnt gottn really all that hot but i also discovered that at the front right bottom of my a/c heater box there is a hole in the plastic and i could feel air coming out of it... could this also be a cause?

that could be part of it but 98% of it will be that with that valve plugged up you are not getting any hot coolant to the heater core for the blower motor to blow thru so it is staying cool thus your cool air
