Hhmm I've played with this stuff for awhile on my other rigs, test vehicle is a 95 f150. After some playing with the AC I got my vent temps into the low 40s while driving. After a good long cooling system flush with a new heatercore install my vent temps went up from about 100 to 130+ it fluctuates from idling to driving.
So I suggest a good long cooling system flush, good reliable thermostat, new hoses and heater core, and double check all your vent pipe connections.
Then you should be happy in the summer and winter.
