Welcome from a multiple Gbody owner from Gloucester county Nj. By the way did that car come from DE?

Yes, it is actually from DE. Found it on line.
Good i know the guy who had the car he was on this forum also. I was going to buy just the body off him but managed to get one of my olds cutlass back i sold a few yrs back. Glad to see it survived in one piece.

Thats good to know. He is the one who referred me to this forum. Nice guy. I got a good feeling about him and the car. It had higher miles than some of the others I looked at, but he was honest and pointed everything out. In my price range I knew I wouldn't get a show ready car, but what I got was a solid car - even better. Can't wait - I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes! For those of you in NJ -

OCEAN COUNTY - There is the Ocean Gate EMS Car show today (Saturday 10/13) from 11am to 4pm c/o Atlantic and Cape May ave in Ocean Gate. I'll be there for the last show with my old car (Chrysler Convertible - up for sale since I got the 442). There is also the Forked River Burger King Cruise every Tuesday at 7pm RT 9 in Forked River, Lacey Twp. Also Friday Nights Baywick Plaza in Bayville there is a cruise through the end of October.

MONMOUTH COUNTY - I know of a meet and greet at Dunkin Donuts on Rt 9 in Freehold Thursday nights. I plan to venture up when work has not abused me for the day.

Hope we can all meet one day!

Welcome ! It seems that there is a lot of you guys in the southern part of NJ. I would love to meet up down that way some time I have family in Toms River are there any show in the next 2 weeks down that way?

I'll have to try to make this one it is very close to my sisters home.

Thanks for the info
James

I wont be around this weekend for the Halloween show, after that i don't mind meeting up being now there are a few more NJ members here that are in the central region. In a few weeks I'll have the car winterized and it'll be sleeping the whole winter while it gets worked on.

Runaway, if you need some help this winter getting the car running I don't mind lending a hand!

There are always shows down this way. Every Friday in Bayville is Baywick Plaza (5-9pm). Every Tuesday we have a cruise night at Forked River Burger King (I'll be on my way there in a few moments) from 7-9, and there have been quite a few on the weekends too.

Try www.jerseycarshows.com for a complete list, and I'll try to keep everyone updated. For now my wife and I are still showing the Chrysler Convertible - it looks like the 442 will be a long process of rebuild. By hopefully by next summer she will be ready.

It looks like the car shows will be rained out this weekend and next week in NJ. We have the huge hurricane heading directly toward us for next week to boot! I'm at work now, but I've been scrambling to get the cars shelter from the storm. Not much luck so far.

If anyone is interested in meeting up, we always have Tuesday at burger king on RT9 in Forked River NJ (GSP Exit 74). That is all winter long. I would count out this tuesday with the hurricane and all.

Been working on the 442 quite a bit. My wife's gotten the interior in good shape, and we did the body work today. Lokin' good!
