You have an overall cost of the swap. Iam getting a good deal on a 2005 5.3 with a 4l60e with under 100k miles. But I wanna know if I should that route or kept saving for the LS2 6speed

I do these swaps all the time so I already had the motor/ trans...

Parts that I had to buy with estimated prices because I'm not near my receipt box.

Transdapt engine plate # 4572 - $50
Pacesetter long tube f-body headers - $280
Ac delco fuel pump - $50
Spectra fuel sending unit - $90
Grand national fuel tank - $160
Oreily's brand corvette fuel filter - $20
Smaller power steering pump pulley to clear gear box - $20
R4 Ac bracket and tensioner - $220

Those are some of the main items I had to purchase. Calculate another $100 on fuel lines, fittings, wire loom, electrical parts, and that should get you a rough idea of what it'll cost if you do it yourself. I re-worked the factory harness myself.

You mentioned that the oil pan sick down like 2 inches. I've heard of guys using theoil pan from a Cadillac to solve that problem.
