Any ideas why I have zero power? After starting my 84 El Camino yesterday,as it typically does when cold,it stopped, so I put it back in park to restart it like usual(usually takes 2 trys), & everything is dead. I mean everything. No interior lights, or headlights either 😱

As long as the battery has power itwould be a fusable link that did you in.
Although Ive never dealt with one, that had just came to mind. Thanks. I forget where they're located & if easily replaced. Is that an Autozone part? 🙂

Also check where the chassis 'hot wires' and battery cable attach to the starter solenoid. Could just be a loose connection.

Defiantly check terminals and make sure they are tight. Or if you have a side post battery like I do, check the bolts and make sure the threads are good and making a good connection. I know I had this problem with my Cutlass and it was very intermittent. It ended up being a bad bolt on the ground terminal.

OK, well I guess the 1st thing is to check/replace battery cables....then....
