It does to me

Both tires are same height. The fronts are only narrower. 255 60 15 rear 225 70 15 frontHigh doesn't equal sleeper... 28" rear and 26" front doesn't make it slammed.

Lower the back and the front will come up some; the weight distribution is all wonky. Installing the hood is going to exacerbate the issue.
And IIRC, you are running a 70-series tire in the front which is going to fill up the wheel well more. Go back to a 65 or 60 series tire to regain clearance.

If those A arms did lower it and you take em off, I may be interested in getting them for my Monte
The issue has to be with the springs or spindles. I've never heard of control arms built to lower our cars. The difference in spindles should be easy to spot. So my best guess is the springs are the problem.
And "stock" tire size would be more along the lines of 185/70-14, or roughly 24 1/4" diameter.
My Cutlass has stock control arms and spindles and with 450# QA1 coilovers I cant get it that low. Not even with 26" tires.
