GM p/n 11500088 superseded to 11504765 is an M8-2.12 x 30 mm. Used to hold up the exhaust hanger brackets to the unibody on 2002 F-body. Discontinued in 2012. Can't find any or any aftermarket. Maybe if you can find an F-body in a j/y or someone with a junker laying around... I dunno.

GM p/n 11500089 is M8-2.12 x 35 mm. I cannot locate any.

That would be perfect 35 mm is over 1.25" thanks for the extra effort I have some other junkyard shopping to do. That has got to be one of the wierdest thread pitches in the metric world. It's the only time I've seen anything other than a fraction of .25

M8-2.12 is English 5/16-12 Those screws predate the metric conversion.

Agree. Except administratively. I know, confusing. The old M7.9-2.12 are the screws you're thinking of, which is exactly the same ones as the later listed M8-2.12 screws. They listed both in the standard parts books during the G-body runs. I guess people didn't like M7.9 as it just didn't make as much sense, although technically the 5/16 is M7.9 vs. M8. I'm going to guess they didn't even change the screw itself even when they made "new" M8-2.12 screws. And yes, they are listed as screws, not bolts. They got other weird azz sizes in metric as well, because they are actually SAE, just relabled.

This is at least one time they mashed metric to fit the existing SAE. Fuggin' G-bodies and their mix and match...

Don't know about the rest of y'all, but I can't seem to find any of these screws anywhere any different than 20 mm length.
