I use the 3/8 vacuum line as well

Glad to hear your getting it worked out. I used 3/8" fuel line for mine and didn't have any issues with collapsing, leaking, etc.

but what is the proper size for the car? they technically dont make a 3/8 vacuum hose.

The closest fractional vacuum line would be 11/32"...i don't think 12/32" (exact to 3/8") is available. I will do some hunting and get back on that.

thats what i though it was then he was like yeah it calls for 15/32 or whatever it was i bought.

Gotcha...yeah 15/32 is more like 7/16". That's definitely where 1/16" makes a difference....shouldn't need to use a clamp on vacuum lines(not that you have, just sayin).
