Well iv been all over the place searching and im running out of time, I need to start ordering parts really soon. I made myself a dead line for spring this year. now even though im sure the info is out there somewhere but the search option isn't pulling it up. im problebly just entering the wrong words to search.

but anyways my plans are to do either a 5.3l or 6.0l with either a th400 or a 4l80e. ideally im going to do a 6.ol lq4 with a 4l80e. and to spice things up im going to run a minimum of a 70mm turbo.

I would like to use the set back mount but havnt found any part number or info on what works part work the best then I need to find a trans cross member for either transmission.

dose anyone know what turbo headers are out the for this swap or what manifolds work.

im going to pick this car up in about 1 week. and bring it home.

everything else I have handled as I am a very seasoned mechanic.

I know this subject has probley been beaten to death and im sorry for starting another topic on it. but like I was saying time is short as I start heavy chemo this summer and would like to have it together before I end up sick all the time. this is just a toy for the family and I to get out and enjoy while im down. thanks in advance for any help or info.

here are some pics of the car.

As far as turbo headers I don't know a proven set of them specifically for G-bodies, but I'm sure you will be able to find a set of turbo headers for a Foxbody or an F-body and make adjustments as needed. Unless it's gonna be an all out drag car you should just use flipped truck manifolds, or I think the 5th gen Camaro manifolds work pretty well.

For the trans crossmember question, check out Iceman racing, or G-Force crossmembers. Again, depending if it's an all out drag car or not, the G-Force is more appropriate for the street so it costs a little more due to how tough it is. The Iceman is lighter and designed for the track and is cheaper.

dose anyone know if these mounts will work. I plan on using truck alternator powersteering with no A/c setup.

I think im going with the obx turbo headers or flipped truck manifolds
I think I remember reading a thread on LS1 tech about someone using the cheap ebay Foxbody headers, and welding the LS1 flanges on the headers and they worked pretty well for how little he had in them.

I don't know about the mounts, I think most people go with the Trans-Dapt ones or like those that you found on ebay
