I just got done talking to a guy over at Lunati. I was asking for a comparison between their 60102 cam and Comp Cams recommended XE268H. He said they're very comparable and not much difference.

The main issue he raised was the fact that I'm running stock stamped steel rockers on my 350. The lunati has a .468/489 and the comp cam is .477/.480 lift. He said because these camshafts are running at and over .480 lift, the stock rockers will possibly bind on the rocker arm stud because of the lack of rocker travel. Can someone put in their two cents on this plz? Is this true or is anyone running a similar set up without any problems?

Im running a Summit 1103 cam with my stock 350 heads. The specs on the cam is .442/.465 lift which is somewhere around yours. Just my 2 cents. I haven't had a problem yet.

I am running a .495 with my L98 heads, with stock flat tappet rocker arms... I have no problems.

you can always go to the comp cams roller tip rockers (or equivalent) they'll handle the lift and are relatively cheap.

I'm gonna try the stock rockers first. I spoke with a bunch of guys who are using stock rockers with cams up to .495 lift. I'll see what happens when I turn the motor over and I'll pay close attention to the valvetrain. If anything, a set of summit long slot OE rockers with cost $50.

Will a comp-cam 268 work fine on stock 350 heads and valvetrain, because I don't want to change the springs yet?
