To me they aren't necessary. More things to go wrong. Look how much of a problem they are being now and they aren't even hooked up. That's just me my friend🍺

I have a Ungo S100 in my GP that has been in there forever and I have all the options installed except for remote start. I have also added a module which puts up the windows up when I remote lock the doors. Nearly all the problems with aftermarket alarms and remote door locks are caused by incorrect installation or someone inadvertently hitting the valet mode.

Yes it is nice, I did use that option with my alarm install. its a cool feature on the older cars for sure.
