I have an 1984 Cutlass Supreme Brougham 4 door 3.8l V6. It needs new front left brake caliper and pads. When searching for compatible vehicles on this caliper ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-...984|Model:Cutlass+Supreme&hash=item35b37a3829 ) it says that it fits the 5.7l V8 version. Will this part fit my car? Thanks in advance! 😀

I need a new distributor cap and rotor too. Would this work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dist...:1984|Model:Cutlass+Ciera&hash=item35b441851f When I search for the compatible vehicles, my vehicle doesn't come up, but it says it fits my engine. Will these parts fit my car?

:bump:

The caliper will work, doesn't matter what size engine it has.
The dist cap and rotor would be better to buy at your local parts store.

The 3.8L V6 that that distributor cap & rotor are for, is a different 3.8L engine. A Cutlass Ciera is a FWD car with a "Chevy" 3.8L in it (along with the rest of the cars listed there) The rotor is the same but the distributor cap is different

The caliper is stumping me. I would say the the 4dr Supreme Brougham is probably a different setup than standard Cutlass Supreme  A complete guess though :|

The NAPA numbers for the distributor cap & rotor:
ECH. RR173
ECH. RR203

If the caliper is the same, the NAPA part number is:
CAL. SE4623

Ritter the brake rotors are the same 79 to 88 2 and 4 doors just the wheel studs are different so they would use the same caliper.

I went to O riley's website, and I found the parts I need. However, there are high performance versions avaible. Would I be able to use these high performance versions on my car?
