The easy solution is to get a manual S-10 box, and just eliminate the pump if it's above your ability to figure it out. Obviously, the brackets for the Procharger are not designed for a G body, otherwise, it would fit. What is the kit for, or is it "universal"?

It was supposed to be universal....i talked to bortech and they stated it may not fit all applications. So if i can not figure something economical i guess I will return it.

How bad is it hitting? Reason I say this is that you can MAYBE get the pulley turned down a little to provide clearance, and if it's just nicking the steering box, you could maybe grind a small notch into it. Not too deep, but you know...

If it's like full-fledged crawling up the gearbox's azz, I don't know what to recommend.

That's what YOU recommended. 🙂 I was meaning along the lines of keeping power steering. May have to go with a manual box. I'm at my limit here. I know my limitations. Gotta run. Have fun.

Rack and pinion

does anyone know where i can find a rack and pinion setup for my 88 mcss? i came across a 4x4 suburban 5.3 that I'm gonna use the engine for my swap and it came with the rack and pinion and thought about fabbing it up to fit but if there's a true kit made for it I'd rather buy that
