Hey guys neewb here wit 22" iroc rim questions!!!

Hey guys glad to be here with the rest of the G body lovers. I'm a owner of a fairly orig 87 Monte ss lookin to add a set off 22x9.5 irocs but really don't understand what offset I should be lookin for. Is there a range I can stay in or is there a specific os I need? And even then I still don't kno what it actually does to the car and or wheel relation jus chime in with any and all thanks guys.....
