Great looking car, Max.
I like the subtle look of the black paint and rally wheels, '66 style caps without the trim rings. What plans do you have in store for it?

Thanks.

I have started a new post on the General Forum called Max's Malibu. I have a lot of inormation about the car and some of what I plan on doing to it in that post.

Basically I have wnated a G-body Malibu for about ten years. I bought one before but it was more than I could handle without a shop. (I'm building my shop this winter.) I gave it to a friend a we will make a serious street/strip car out of that one sometime in the future.

This one will be my daily driver. I plan on taking my time and redoing the dash, adding a high quality sound system and after market a/c. For now I will be putting a cam in this engine (86 350 - one piece rear seal, roller cam motor). It has decent World Product iron heads on it and I have a nice Holley 750 and performer RPM to put on. I'm going to a 200 4R to replace the 350 trans in it now.

The rear is an Aburn posi with Richmond 4.10 gears and Moser 28 spline axles. The car is quick but winds out on the highway. The 200 will give me a more agressive 1st gear ration and an overdrive to take some of the pressure off the engine on the highway.

I plan on a suspension upgrade too. The car rides like a Cadillac. I want to tighten it up, so performance sway bars, slightly stiffer spring front and back HD shocks and swaybar link kit for now. Down the road tubular control arms up and down and adjustles in the back and maybe a pan hard rod.

So that's it in general. Check out my other post. Talk to you later.
