there you go, His money will be best spent on that drivetrain before more power IMO. That 7.5 rear is a weak link, I have used the 700r4 trans (quality re-built) with a 400hp 383 in a s-10 Blazer I ran it for 2 years I only broke a rear gear then put in a 8". That lil truck pissed off a lot of "fast" cars 😀 😀


Is it his only car? daily driver or weekend hell raiser? I drove a 70 Nova as a daily driver with a small block and a big 510 lift solid cam for years, it was tough on parts 😀

No it's not his only car, he's got a pretty nice 90 Cavalier. Yeah the motor will probably stay as is for now. He was talking wheels the other day so if he does that and a diff probably enough for a while.
