It will be 9 years in Sept for me. Orig from Parkdale so when we first moved here it was a PIA that each neighborhood started with the same damn letters. We are used to it now and looking for a detatched w/garage in C,D or M until the boy finishes highschool. We much prefer the older part of town East of 10. Ill keep an eye out for you.

Hello & welcome from North York.
Nice Regal! What are your plans for it?
Lived in a townhouse in a new subdivision in N/E Bramalea for a couple of years. Years ago I lived in the g section.

Thank you for the welcome folks,
My plans for the Regal....I want to work on the engine and get a little more kick out of it. It has a stock 350 that was rebuilt from the previous owner, just not sure which direction I want to go ie, pull the perfectly fine 350 that's in it and by a built up motor or just keep this one and enjoy the ride. It definitely is a fun car to drive, the cornering needs to be addressed though. Sometimes it feels like the rear end is catching up to the front when going around corners. It might need sway bars to correct that. What doo you guys think?

I used to live behind Gage Park for a number of years, my son just bought in that area. It's great in the summer time with the bands that play at Gage Park, we can hear them from my sons front porch. Awesome neighborhood!!

Well, far as I know 82 Regal did not come with stock 350's. So if it is a 350, rather than a 305, it must have been special ordered or it was transplanted at some point.....
Now if it is 350, you can build that easily to give you more kick. Now if it's a 305, which history dictates is more likely, it's not worth the $$ to power to build it....
Suspension upgrades are common for g-bodies in general and range from dirt cheap to hella expensive. There is a thread here with all kinds of chassis reinforcing info, but easiest thing you can do is upgrade you springs and shocks, and definitely a sway bar in the back if it doesn't have one.
Now with that you will lose a little of that 'driving the couch around town' feel, but you will gain a ton of stability....lots of reading to be had on this site, so have a look around and see what might appeal for you

Jumped on that little gem like the proverbial chicken on a junebug. I've uploaded some posts about suspension upgrades. Search under my user name. Steering, brakes, then suspension. Change out the brake fluid if its brown or black - don't let rot what you've got.

Thank you Mr Evil, The stock 4.1 liter engine was replaced with the 350 that's in it now. It goes pretty good but...like every boy, just a bit quicker would be nice lol. I have and am still doing lots of reading and printing.
