Just been reading a lot on some topics on GP Pontiac, I have a 84 with a 69 400 H O in it. Bore 60 over with a comps cam 501 1.65 roller rockers 2 stage oil system. Turbo 400 with 2500 stall , all I have left is the rear end it's stock having some traction problems . LOL this is my first G-body car I built, I have a 1970 gt 37 Tempest had it for 25 years, replaced the engine with a RAM AIR 3 runs a 12.59 all stock . I know some of you g body gear heads can help with my traction problem.

The car is like on the top of the road it blows the tire off I need weight to transfer from front to back (what front shocks 90/10 ? guessing here ) out back i know the 7.5 wont hold up, I have a 9 inch and a dana super 60 which one is the best and easy to fab up to go under a g-body, the 9 is 57.5 inch hub to hub .the dana 60 is 54 inch hub to hub . Dont know the measure on the 7.5 ? What size tire can I run under it ? Is 10 inch tire to much here with out getting in the chassis and the fender.

Welcome from West Michigan.

Welcome to the east coast of NC. And another GP guy too.

Another eastern Carolina welcome here too. I'm sure if you post up in the suspension section or similar, you'll get more hits on your traction issue.

The stock G Body rear end is right around 58" AXEL FLANGE TO AXEL FLANGE.
