high torque starters!!!

i have a 350 .30 over with dart heads good size cam 4 barrel 750 holley and im having starter problems the hood on the index keeps braking off i was wondering if high compession requires a high torque starter and one more thing is do they make high tech chevy starters with the bolt holes horizontally across instead of stagered

Just get a starter for a 98 Chevy truck with a 454 . its a high torque starter & it requires no modification. Other than shorter bolts. And she spins my motor over like nobody's business.
