Holden is GM's newest victim

Greetings Guys; My cousins from The Land OZ sure had a Great perspective of Automobile design. OK subjective & name bias for sure. Just dreamin', too bad the employees couldn't of become owners. That sometimes works for smaller company's. I so wanted to see the Coupe 60 get produced. And of course when the assembly plant closed back in 17, it was just a mater of time. Unlikely I'll ever sell mine, but it is a pain in the posterior to work on. And I thought the Bronze Brick had lots of plastic. I've already broken more than one plastic tab. Then of course I could of worked on the Brick blindfolded & everything is new to me on the GuTOo. But I can't leave it stock, I have the Affliction, Ole' Bob.

Personally owning a GTO I think they should have just shipped over what they had there in the first place and just change what they had to do pass safety. Their biggest mistake was sending over the 04 and calling it a GTO, while it is the evolution of what a GTO/Monaro was and then turned into. Bringing over a V8 RWD since Lutz drove it and loved it was a great idea, half assing it and sending over the bland looking car they did for 04 was the major problem. I think if they had waited and brought the 05, having the hood scoops and a dual exit that actually came out both sides of the rear bumper would have made a huge difference in its original reaction and sales numbers. I love the way my GTO looks now, but I also had to spend tons of money putting 06 and Monaro parts on it. I really loved the look of that Coupe 60 and was hoping it would become the next gen camaro, AWD and over 400hp was a real accomplishment at that point. But leave it to GM to continually drop the ball and do as little as possible for Pontiac until it had no choice but to close it to keep Buick going which does great overseas. With the GTO, G8, and Solstice it was a real shame since they were all pretty sharp looking cars that had good potential.
