You certainly don't want the elements overrunning your parts stash shed, much like the way people have their cars strewn across their properties, and having trees and such growing through them. 😱

Trees that grow thru cars?

Chophead,
It never ceases to amaze me how prolific mother nature is. Thanks for sharing the examples.
It's cool going thru some old junkyards and seeing firsthand how overgrown some of these cars become.
It also makes you wonder what shape these cars were in before having a humungous tree grow through them.

Wow your right! I will check it out next time I am there. They walled in over 3/4s of the property with cars. Lots of cool old cars that we would have killed for. Coal country tears a car up. It might look good on thr outside but its rusting away inside out.

Nope. I also noticed what looks to be a 1st gen nova 2 door ht or post. Either way it's a shame for all 3 of them. At least they're on top and not the bottom.

Come to think of it, I didn't even give it a second glance, until you mentioned the Malibu coupe and wagon on top of the pile. I also did notice the first generation Chevy II...what a shame indeed.

Funny that I came across this thread since it's partially why the GP isn't done. I had to remove a neglected pool that now needs to be filled in with dirt. There's also 5 trees that I need to cut down before I can put a shed in the back yard. The lawn equipment and snowblower are taking up valuable garage space and it's too crowded with 2 cars and all the misc bs in there.

Funny stuff- I don't know about you guys but I'm in the middle of a frame off now- absolutely obsessed with it as like anything else I do that I'm interested in... Somewhat annoyed by my personality. I can't do anything leisurely.. Lol

I take care of the big/important house issues before wrenching.
Mowing the lawn can wait a week if necessary.
Painting ourside woodwork can wait longer. But anything that will rot or impact other stuff badly needs to be adressed asap. Wrenching on the cruck will have to wait then.

As much as i like my hobby, there are things that comes first. Family and estate for instance🙂
