Hi looking at hoods. Will this fit my 1979 Malibu Classic Coupe.

I'm not seeing any hood reference in your post. Your hood needs to be for a 78-81 Malibu or 78-87 El Camino.
Depending on where you are, I have a flat hood if you are interested. I'm in Mesa, AZ.

If it’s in good $hape? Love AZ. I’m in Boston. 😩 tragic State. Is it worth tossing it in the mail?

I think it would be cost prohibitive to mail a hood across country. You can Google "1979 Malibu hood" and find what you're looking for. Flat hoods are fairly reasonable. Cowell hoods are a bit more.

If you have your heart set on a factory hood there's a guy in Rhode Island That has a warehouse Full of parts for these cars. You can find his listing on the Boston craigslist.
