Fiberglas never really stops shrinking (curing), so cracks are going to happen where it is attached to any other material. That's why you see those cheap glass hoods all warped up when they're a few years old
In my experience fiberglass steel and aluminum don't like each other and in the long term it never works out well when people try mixing them so to speak so keep steel on steel aluminum on aluminum and glass on glass that goes for rivets also
