Will a monte carlo hood fit on a el camino?My cousin wrecked his 83 el camino only hood i can find is a monte carlo.

I don't believe it will fit. The Monte Carlo front clip is a bit wider than a Malibu, and I don't think that the body lines match. I'm sure that others can chime in to verify this, but I would keep looking for a correct Malibu hood to install. Good luck.

A Monte Carlo hood will not work.

Any '78-'83 Malibu or '78-'87 El Camino hood will work. You should have no trouble finding dozens.

I knew the Malibu would work but all i can find in the junkyards here is monte carlos and some cutlass.
