I’m going to do a WOT run when the weather straightens out around here. 383 stroker, AFR210 head, 640 lift, 1 3/4 down tubes, 3” all the way back, all roller 10.7:1, 93 octane pump gas up to 5% to 7% ethanol blended fuel. Holley 4150/750. Here’s what I don’t like, pulled jets last night and they are 68 on all four corners. Will be bumping up on secondary’s tonight. Thoughts on spread of jets

If the carburetor has a power valve front and back, its generally the same front and back. If there is a plug in the rear, anywhere from 6-10 is the spread. I usually start at 8 and go from there. My dominator on my 565 was square jetted with no power valves in it.

Time for a small investment of a wide-band O2 sensor and gauge only to complement the time and money you have in your respectable engine build. You need proper AFR at all throttle positions.

i think they look great. most of my old career mechanics say it is almost impossible to read plugs these days with all the additives in the gas now.
